Prof. Quan Yang, University of Science and Technology Beijing

Prof. Yang is the director of the National Engineering Technology Research Center of Advanced Equipment for Plate and Strip Production. He mainly researches nondestructive testing and control technology of industrial production lines, digital twin 3D visualization technology and intelligent unmanned system. The research results have been successfully applied in the running condition monitoring and product quality control of plate and strip rolling mills which has made important contributions to the scientific and technological progress of iron enterprises and non-ferrous metal processing enterprises. He has won one first prize of National Science and Technology Progress, one second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, one first prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Education, one first prize and one third prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, and was a member of the Discipline Review Group of the Fifth and Sixth Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council (Mechanical Engineering).
